Shipping, delivery & returns
What are your order deadlines and delivery schedule?
Delivery takes place every Wednesday.
Orders must be placed by 5pm on the Thursday of the preceding week for delivery the following Wednesday.
Your order will arrive between 8am and 8pm. On the morning of delivery, you’ll receive a message from our courier with a two-hour delivery window.
If you won’t be home, please leave clear safe-place instructions at checkout so your delivery can be left securely.
How do you deliver the food, and do you ship nationwide?
We deliver nationwide via DHL, with every box packed in wool insulation and ice packs to ensure your meals stay frozen and arrive in perfect condition.
Orders are delivered between 8am and 8pm on Fridays.
We currently deliver within the UK only.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to the whole of Great Britain, including Scotland and Wales.
What is your returns & refund policy?
As our meals are food products, we’re unable to accept returns. That said, if something isn’t quite right with your order, please email us at info@themamamenu.com with the details. We’ll always do our best to resolve the issue and arrange a refund where appropriate.

Is your food suitable for during pregnancy?
Yes — all of our meals are suitable for those trying to conceive, during pregnancy, and in the postpartum period. Our food is made using whole, nourishing ingredients, with maternal health in mind at every stage.
If you have any specific health conditions, dietary requirements, or concerns, please email us at info@themamamenu.com before ordering so we can advise you accordingly.
Do I have to cook anything?
No — there’s no cooking required. All of our meals come fully prepared and simply need reheating in the oven or microwave, following the instructions on the packet.
It’s truly heat and eat, all in one simple step.
Can I buy The Mama Menu as a gift?
Definitely! This makes the best gift for a new Mama – please see our gift vouchers in our online shop if you'd like them to receive and email gift card, or you can just choose a package for them and put their address and your message. We will handwrite a note and place inside their box.

What sizes are your portions?
All of our portions are single servings so that it's super easy to just pop them in the microwave and eat straight from frozen. Each portion is between 400 and 500g, depending on the dish.
What if I have allergies?
All of our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles all major allergens, so we can’t guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces. We use nuts regularly, so our meals are not suitable for those with a severe nut allergy.
All of our dishes are gluten-free, but not all are dairy-free — please check individual product listings for full allergen information.
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know at checkout. We’ll always do our best to take this into account when preparing your order, but we’re unable to guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
Do you accommodate vegans?
Yes! Please select our veggie/vegan menu from the drop down under all packages. All of our vegetarian dishes are vegan.

Do you do subscriptions?
Yes - you can set up a weekly or monthly subscription, which can be selected under the drop down menu. As a bonus, you will also receive a 10% discount!
