About us
Nourishment is one of the foundations of family
In my family, feeding each other is our main love language, so I learnt early on that food is about far more than sustenance: It’s about comfort and safety, about being celebrated and held. The Mama Menu grew from this belief, that food is one of, or perhaps the most powerful and effective ways we can care for one another.
After training as a chef at a young age, I became passionate about learning how to prevent and treat illness through food. When I was 24, I became a birth and postnatal doula, and more recently qualified as a perinatal nutrition specialist. These combined experiences have truly enabled me to bring an all encompassing approach to nourishing women during their fertility, pregnancy and early motherhood journey.
I’ve witnessed first hand how Mums tend to end up last on their own list and how neglectful the health system and our society can be when it comes to knowledge and delivery of adequate nutrition. I created the Mama Menu in response to this gap, to offer food that heals, restores and comforts, bringing both science and soul to the table. Rooted in global traditions of maternal care, it is built on a simple belief: that nourishment should support women not just after birth, but throughout fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum, with warmth, reverence, and intention.

Cutting Through the Noise
There’s a lot of conflicting information around fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum: inconsistent advice, endless rules, and pressure to do everything ‘right’. At The Mama Menu, we believe nourishment doesn’t need to be complicated, just intentional, evidence-informed, and grounded in real life.
Our recipes and resources are designed to cut through the noise and offer clear, supportive guidance, so you can focus on feeding yourself well, with confidence and ease, at every stage of the journey.
